About the EJ Foundation
A registered New Zealand charitable trust established in Auckland, dedicated to youth skill empowerment, educational literacy support, and humanitarian care.
A Family Commitment to Community Service
Established in Auckland, New Zealand, the EJ Foundation was founded by Ershad Ali and Julekha Ershad alongside their family to uplift the community and support emerging generations.
With family members actively serving in the healthcare profession caring for others, the founders recognized the essential need for practical life skills, mentorship, and educational resources among youth transitioning into higher education and the workforce.
To guarantee that community support, youth development workshops, and humanitarian assistance operate with institutional continuity and transparent stewardship, they formalized their philanthropic work by establishing the Ershad Julekha Foundation as a registered New Zealand charitable trust under the Charities Act 2005 (CC63864).
